Saved by a Awesome DD CM !!

We added a day to our trip. We are leaving in 2 weeks.

I called to add dining for the day we added and to check my ADR times for the rest of the week. But, to my surprise , all our ADRS were cancelled. You see, our trip had been rescheduled from September and I booked our new ADRs prior to cancelling the old ones. When the CM cancelled the old ADRs, she went a little over board because she cancelled the new ones as well. Well, CM Shannon called every supervisior she could find to get our ressies back. They all told her to re-book. She spent an hour on the phone with me working with supervision and helping me rebook. She did an awesome job. I had to take Coral Reef for lunch instead of dinner, do an non-Fanstasmic Mama Melrose and replace O'hana with 1900 Park Fare.

I hope I like 1900 Park Fare. I have never been there, but I am so glad I called to check.

I know people make mistakes, but it is so nice to know that people like Shannon help make it OK.

We had dinner there in June. It was good but it wasn't one of our favorites. We preferred Hoop De Doo for the best dinner but it was second.

I think they do in fact I know that many of CM's read the Dis. And some of the chefs read here as well.....they want to know what the people think of their restaurants..

How wonderful that the CM was so relentless in making things right for you.

I had an awesome CM this week, I wish I could remember her name. I called first thing for CRT BF, 180 out. Well nothing for a party of 5. I said it's 180 and she started with explaining about the on property ADR rules (which I know) and a table of 5 is hard to get at CRT($$$). I was so bummed, then she said I can do lunch. I told her I wanted BBB then CRT. She said that we could do that. I spend several seconds thinking, she was so sweet and she told me that she immediately held it for me in case I wanted it. I didn't even think that with my thinking it over it could be snapped up. Well we booked it and BBB, plus other ressies. She was the sweetest CM.
