Save unused Fast Passes!!!

It's really true folks. FASTPASSES NEVER EXPIRE!!! If your time window is over- you can still use it. I gave my friend 4 fastpasses that I got before leaving LAST YEAR just to see if it would work. It did, so get some on your way out folks!

I never save unused Fastpasses. If we can't use them, we always find someone to give them to - why save them when you can make someone's day and spread some magic around?

I love seeing people's faces when you see them in a 60+ minute wait and you hand them a fastpass for now times. The sheer joy on their faces is enough for me NOT to save our fastpasses.

I used to give our FP away until I found out that most CM will let you use them after they expire.

We were on line at BTM when the CM said to take our FP back...they were closing the ride. He said we could come back anytime that day...glad to hear we can use them even later...

While it is true that you should be able to use them afte the return window on the same day, days or months later...that just seems wrong to me. The reason you can use them even after the return window is for the same reason as what canwegosoon said. Ride breakdown. Either the ride you have the Fp for or other rides while you are in line for etc.

Same day for a good reason, yes, next day, week, month or year, no!

It defeats the whole purpose. Although some get away with this, not all do. I'd be so embarrassed trying to use last year's FASTPASSES on another trip and being told I can't use them.

We give our unused fastpasses away, too. It's an easy way to spread a little pixie dust.

We save them from year to year and on the day we are leaving we make sure to get some for the following year!!!

I agree that it's just wrong to take fastpasses without intending to use them.

They only give out so many in one day...that's why in busy times the fastpasses are gone early in the day......

If you go telling everyone to just get one..then it ruins the fastpass system for everyone who actually plans to use them during the printed time....


(and sometimes they really do enforce the time stamp. We once were five minutes early and had to wait to go into the fastpass line.)

We give away unused fast passes, OR I put them in the trip scrapbook. They look nice next to pictures of the ride.

Now that i think about it, its kinda funny to put them in a scrapbook... AS IF im gonna forget what they look like, or that they have them... lol

In Nov. we were at Epcot the morning of our flight back home. My DS had to ride Test Track just 1 more time before we left so we got fast passes. Well what do you know, Test Track was down the time of our passes. The CM that was there told us to come back anytime to ride. We told him we were leaving for home and maybe we'd have better luck next visit. At that point HE told us to hold on to the passes till our next visit and use them then. Thats exactly what we did this past March/April without any problem. He said they are always good.

using fast passes past their "due date/time" totally defeats the purpose of them, throws a wrench in the works and imo is just wrong...

I can understand not using them on another day/year, but we were there last week and used them later than the time alloted to use and didn't have any problems. We had passes for Pooh at MK but it started raining and we wanted to go back to the room and change clothes. We came back later that night and used them without a problem. We had also got some for "Honey I shrunk the audience" but there was no line when we went back so we never used those. I have them in with all my maps and info. I had planned on using them in a scrapbook.

I don't think the thought crossed my mind to hold on to the FP...I ALWAYS gave it to a group of people who looked like they could use a FP....If I couldn't take advantage of it...someone else could!! just spreading the mickey love...that's just what I thought everyone did :earsboy:
