If you made these, how did you go about making them? I had one of the nice ladies on the creative design boards help me design something that I wanted to use as a save the date magnet. So the question is what would be the best and cheapest way to about making some magnets? Any suggestions would be great! TIA!!

I did save the date magnets.

my brother designed and made them so i have no clue what went into making them.

Here is the picture

Now my best friend had magnets also.. i know her brother made them as well. i'm not sure if there is some kind of special paper.

but she asked me to pick up the magnets. we got them at walmart they are business card magnets. i think you can get them at any office type store.

Good luck

I have purchased magnetic business cards (Office Depot) that will run in my inkjet printer and I'm going to print my design right onto the card. I will enclose my magnet with a first newsletter with basic information. That will be going out shortly after Christmas.

One of the Creative DISers made my design. I purchased sheets of magnetic paper at Staples. I put the graphic into a Word document and printed on the magnetic paper on extremely high quality. Then I cut out my magnets and mailed with our first newsletter.

Jaclyn,

Love the design! Pat is the best ;)! I am going to use one of her other designs, but that one was a close second. Also YAY, you're getting married on my bday!

Thanks for the tips everyone! I think I'm going to Staples and buy the magnetic paper. That way seems to be the easiest for me.

Thanks again! :goodvibes

Yep, Pat is awesome! She's made several things for us.

We're getting married on my birthday, too! ;) I can't wait! I keep wanting to write "12/14/77" when I write our wedding date since that's the date I've written for almost 30 years now! :rotfl:

Who is Pat and where do I find her? I love the design and am trying to do Save the Dates now to send out! Please help :)

JAXTEACH,

Ive seen hundreds of save the date magnets and this one is by far the best! I wish we could do that!
