Hello,
Could anyone make me a "save the date" invitation... I am getting married on June 11, 2010 in Punta Cana, and everyone is going to be staying at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa. I dont care what the invitation looks like...it could just be on 1 side of paper if you like. I just want a tropical looking theme...Thanks so much!

I have a few ideas. Let me see what I can come up with later. What colors would you like? Do you want Disney characters or a beach picture like a seashell or star fish? Do you like fancy script writing or more block lettering like times new roman?

Thanks. If you have some disney characters in carribean style:) that would be ok...Everyone knows im obsessed with Disney. It doesnt matter what colors...whatever you think. Somethin tropical and beachy looking...Thanks again!

Here is a jumping off point. This is a little more simplistic and slightly elegant. I took the resort logo and used the colors from it. Is this what you are looking for or do you want something more fun? I could find a beach Mickey and Minnie and add to this if you want...

Thats really cute...my name is Kelly Grogan and his is Robert Donohue...Actually maybe the Disney character idea wont really go with this...Do you have a background with beaches or palm trees you could add to it to make it a lil more fun? Thanks so much!!

Just for fun...I made this so you could put it in your "wedding file". You could make something like this to send before the wedding:

I found this at www.mycreativewedding.com

I made this but it is similar to the insert that was with the itinerary above:

Something to think about when planning your wedding (although you probably already have) is things that won't cost you money that you could put in your itinerary...like a beach volleyball contest for your guests.

I just realized...how do i print the save the date thing...do i copy n paste in a word doc?

The easiest would be to cut and paste into word. First do a page setup and make the document the size that you want to print. A typical save the date is 3.5 inches by 5.25 inches so that people can put it on their refrigerator. Once you have the size set...cut and paste the invite into word and resize it to your liking. I wasn't sure what size you would make so if I need to reformat the size for you to fit whatever size you choose...send me a pm.

Or it is a jpeg file. If you don't like the way it looks printed because the picture isn't sharp enough. Let me know what size you want and I could reformat it to the printed size as a jpeg. Then you could go and have it printed at a printshop (Wal-mart, Walgreens, etc.). If you do this you may want to do a typical photo size like 4x6 or 5x7 so you won't have to worry about trimming it. Request to have it printed on matte paper.

If you go with the smaller size you could make it a magnet so that people will put it on their "fridge" and will have a constant reminder of your wedding.

Here is a link to the jpeg file if you need it:

Thanks...Ill print it out and see how the colors turn out...My brother and his fiance' are getting married June 5th 2010..She wanted to know if you could make her a save the date invitation now, LOL..If you have time...Her name is Dana Wittig and his name is David Grogan..She doesnt want any disney stuff, just something elegant with a pretty background... If you were doing a border or something, her wedding color is going to be green. They are having a traditional wedding and then they are honeymooning at the place where my destination wedding will be so we will be there at the same time..Thank you!

What color of green...hunter/dark green, lighter green like kelly green...

Also find out what size she wants it so I can format it to the right size.
