Save for a Members Cruise or rent or transfer

Have had a very big lifestyle change since we became guardians of our 2 grandsons, 3 and 5. Have not used DVC in over 2 years due to this and RV. Can only get to WDW on weekends so not very good use of points.

Should we hold out for another DVC Members Cruise next year (one can dream can't one), or should we let others get use of the points?

There is no guarantee that there will be a Member Cruise next year. Even if there is can you be sure that the dates work for you.

Not sure what you mean about others getting use of your points. You could rent them out and book a cruise on cash. Or you could make reservations for family or friends to use your points. We've sent my in-laws to Vero Beach twice and they loved it.

If you're not going to use them, consider renting them. Even with a cruise, you'll likely be better off if you've rented out the points.
