Save and Buy New, or Use and Buy New

Just starting to plan for February 2007, and one of the trivial decisions I'll eventually have to make involves admission. We currently hold 10 day MYW park-hopping passes with 4 days left. We were originally planning on using them next year, arriving Sunday departing Friday, so using them Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Just looking at the prices for expiring MYW passes (for our guests) it's a $3 difference for them to go from 4 day passes to 6 day passes. So that would mean we would need two more days ourselves.

So our choices are to buy 6 day expiring passes, and put our current passes away for some future year, when it makes more sense to use them, or somehow weave them into a use old and buy new scenario.

The dark horse in this is the idea of getting annual passes. Because we're going so late in 2007 (we normally visit in January), it might make sense for us to get annual passes, and use them in January 2008 as well, but at this point we don't know about January 2008 yet.

So, I've got a while to decide, but wondering how folks would weight the various options.
