I just priced our 2 adult and 1 child 2 day (+1 free) tickets and UT is about $32 cheaper, tax and shipping and everything included.

Is that worth the hassle of having to go through the mail and having to hope the tickets get to me on time (leaving in about 11 days) and having to risk forgetting the tickets at home?

What would you do?

Their contact us info gives a 386 area code, which makes me think they are in northern FL. Their business address is Holly Hill, FL. Which makes me think they would get to you pretty quickly.

Are you driving? You can order for pickup.

You may choose to pick-up your tickets in Orlando for FREE. Located near Universal Orlando® Resort.

It took UT 3 wks to ship my tix, but we ordered in Feb, when they were running really high volumes b/c of the anticipated price increases for both Disney and Universal. But this was the third set of tickets I ordered from them, and I have been very happy with the service every time.

As for forgetting them when you pack, I took a pic of the bar codes with my phone and then immediately put them in my "theme park vacation" bin, where we store lanyards, emergency ponchos, etc in between trips. It will be hard for me to forget them. And if for some reason I dork out and don't get them to Orlando with us, I have the pictures and can go to park services and get them re-issued as lost tickets (or so I'm told - I've never yet left our tickets at home).

I am in Georgia, so if I order tonight I imagine they should get here. Seems like most of you think it would be worth it to go with UT.

Did they tell you it was going to take three weeks? That is my main concern, that there will be some sort of delay. What could I do if they aren't here by the time I leave?

We are driving, but I am not sure what time we will arrive. I would hate to have them sitting at a closed store since we plan to hit the parks by 8 am the next morning.

They give you a delivery date, and mine was almost 3 wks out. They ended up shipping on my delivery date instead of delivering then. I wasn't worried about it, knowing we aren't going until June. As I said, I knew we were in their total busy season, so we were expecting there could be a delay.

I believe you can call their 800 number to get more input, and you can also make arrangements for pickup in Florida. Of course, you can buy from Universal or AAA (if you are a member) and not have to worry about the shipping time. At 11 days out, I'd probably hit the local AAA office.

I just checked the delivery date and is listed as the day we are leaving, so that does not work. I might think about picking up at UPS. Looks like they are open until 7 pm. It would be like me to forget to pick them up.

You could just pick them up at the ups store in orlando thats what i do

I'm all for saving money when possible. But I also don't like stress. So since it's $32, that's not a huge amount of money.

I just wanted to give you ideas. :) UCT used to ship immediately; now they don't. But I think they have a spot that says when you're going, so I kind of figured that was info they used. I think Feb was when they raised prices, yes? And the WDW unexpired tickets were going away and they always have a rush on tickets at price-raising-time.

Maybe you could call them tomorrow? See what their actual shipment date would be?

If you put "4630 S. Kirkman Rd. Orlando, FL 32811" into your fave map site, you can see it's a little bit north of the Universal complex. I don't know where you're staying (you might have said but I don't remember) but you could map that out.

But since you're not sure on your driving time, and you don't want to have to go early in the morning (I wouldn't want to either), it might just be worth it to forget the $32. What can that buy, right? One counter service meal? Not that much in the grand scheme of things.

i'm thinking along the same line as bumbershoot on this one.

for peace of mind, don't worry about saving $32 and buy the darkside tickets online with UO and do the kiosk pick up.

it will be one thing less to worry about.
