Saturdays in July

We are arriving at WDW on a Friday afternoon. So our first day at the parks would be Saturday. I've heard a ton about how packed Saturdays are at the MK, yet you still read in the guidebooks that most people travel over the weekend...so is it the locals that are going? Is it really that much different than a weekday? Worse than a Monday??

From what I've seen, the weekends are the most crowded with Mon. as the second most crowded day at MK. If you are staying at a Disney resort, go to MK on Sun. for EMH. You will be able to do so much from 8:00-12:00! After that, go back to the resort or to another park because the crowds will be enormous.

I really don't like that they changed the EE day for MK to Sunday. That was my best kept secret because the crowds were so light on that day!
