We are set to arrive Saturday at the Wilderness Lodge!! I am so excited, any tips or updates I should know about?

i have never stayed there but wanted to wish you a wonderful trip. The Christmas decor is amazing!

We have stayed there twice, once in a courtyard view room, and once club level courtyard. It truly is beautiful this time of year. Here is a picture from our courtyard view room

You'll love the convenience of the boat to the Magic Kingdom, it's great. If you have a little one in a stroller you will really appreciate not having to fold the stroller. There is also a smaller resort launch that you can take to the Contemporary to either dine there or hop the resort monorail to eat at the Polynesian or the Grand Floridian. Enjoy, we arrive at the Floridian a week from tomorrow!

I (we) share your excitement! 7am flight tomorrow staying at CSR. ADR at Whispering Canyon Sunday for dinner. Wilderness lodge is so cool. Have a great vacation.

Love LOVE the WL!! We stayed there last year. Beautiful Christmas Decorations! Be sure to explore around the resort, see the geyser, and take the boats when ever you can. Its so much faster to take the boat to the Contemporary or MK and then get on the monorail if your going to Epcot.

The pool at the Villas is less crowded....just keeping walking out and around to the right from the main pool.

We borrowed a life jacket all week from the marina for our child to use. It was free. We just had to turn it back in before we left.

Try breakfast at the Whispering Canyon at least once during your visit.

We loved how welcoming the lanterns were at night when we returned from the parks.

Have fun! That's our favorite resort. Our next trip, we are trying CSR.

Of all the resorts we have stayed at; the WL is my favorite. I love the theme, the lobby with its lanterns and pillars with the carvings, the inside pool (not swimming) with the bridge over it, the fireplace is fantastic And the landscaping is wonderful. While my DF was getting ready for the day, I loved walking outside early in the morning when there was little foot traffic. Going out to the dock with a cup of coffee, taking a zillion pictures.

And as others have already stated, make sure to get to Whispering Canyon to eat. The CM are a hoot!

And if the cost doesn't scare you away I recommend eating at Artist Point. My DM, DW, DS, and I loved our experience there. We all got something different to eat and no one was disappointed. But again it is an upscale restaurant with and upscale price to go along with it.

Minn. Mouse... Did any of your party eat the buffalo at AP? We are staying at WL next week and have a ressie there and DH wants to try it. Also if you had the filet was it as good as LeCelliers (if you have eaten it). Thanks!
