Sat Scores !!!

Well I got my Sat scores back two weeks ago . The verbal score was 570, and the Math score was 430. Total composite score -1000!!!!!!! That's not bad considering it was my first time and I'm only in 7th grade!!!!

In some of my classes, I sadly saw high school seniors who didn't break the 1000 mark! Keep up the good work!

I took the SAT's in 7th grade and I think i got either a 910 or 960. It was soooo boring to sit there and take a test that basically, I knew nothing about. But this week, we have to take the MEA's (Maine Educational Assesment) and that's 4 hours of sitting and taking tests too. And this year the teachers are putting the pressure on us because they say that if we dont do well, we wont go to high school next year and our school might be shut down.

But we do get these awesome sticky buns for snack time

Congratulations!You must be so excited. I know I was when i got my scores, i think the same time as you. (feb. 16?)the average score last year for a 7th grader through duke TIP was 851. didn't you say somewhere else that you took it through that program?if so, then you'll be getting state recongnition for your verbal score.My verbal was 710 and my math was 500. Your verbal is above average for a 12th grader.Were you scared when you took the test? i was but it wasn't very bad because a lot of other 7th graders from my school were there too.

Wow.. since when do 7th graders take the SATS?!?

I got a 940 the first time I took them, took them again and got a 1060 and I still got into a good college. So don't let test scores get you down.. what am I saying, you are only a 7th grader!

I took the SAT's throught John Hopkins University. They offer it to you if you get within a certain percentile on your states standardized test. I was going to take it as an eight grader....but the registration form got shoved in a pile

My friend took the SAT's in seventh grade with me, and she got a 1210!

Wow that's great! I don't think I would have been able to handle taking SATs in 7th grade. But I gotta take them next year - AHHHH!!!!!!! I just got my PSAT scores back a few weeks ago and my overall score for that was 144 - pretty good for a sophomore!

I agree. I did not do all that well on the SAT, but I also got into good schools. In fact, I probably didn't even have to take the SAT, because a lot of the schools in WI prefer the ACT anyway.
