I get to spend 3 1/2 hours in the car Saturday morning driving to a soccer game. The game is about 1 1/2 hours long and then we get to get back in the car and drive 3 1/2 hours home! Are you jealous????

The joys of a traveling soccer team. Have fun in the car for 7 hours! I could drive to Judi's house and home in that time and have 3 hours to spare. Where is this soccer game? Timbuktu?

It was nice not waking up at 5 this morning. Kids are off (and still sleeping), Mark is home and I sit quietly drinking my coffee and DISing. Mark is taking Colin golfing today while Kelsie probably sleeps the day away and Kendall and I will hit the stores.

Well I am in the middle of Indiana and the game is in Evansville which is in the far southwestern tip - problem is there is no direct route there so we have to go straight down and then over.

In two weeks I will be in Chesterton, IN which is right by the Indiana Dunes. I'll wave to you ok? (Hey it's the closest I'll ever be to Michigan)

Just think of all the scenery you will enjoy during your travels. Just tell me the game isn't at 8 am. That would not be pleasant!

Chesterton is about 1-1/2 away from my house. But it is very close to the newish casino in New Buffalo. I don't do well at that casino, I don't do good at any of them though. But, I do reap the benefits of a certain line of casinos so I guess its all good.
