Yes, Cole is sleeping:cloud9:

Happy Friday Sassies!!! I see camping in my near future......thats as clairvoyant as I am going to be today. I love the Olympics, but they are seriously cutting into my sleep schedule! I let Brendan stay up to watch Michael Phelps last night since thats his idol. Now he'll either wake up cranky or sleep in.

Judi, I thought all Pamida's went out of business several years ago. Glad to here you are catching up with 1986 in the great white north.

Bonnie, Hagerstown? Sounds like just the place for you! Have a great time hag in Hagerstown.

Shannon, at least a skateboard is less expensive than a sportscar right? Stock up on neosporin, ace bandages and ice packs. What makes 30 something men want to try all these kid things? I need to bump up Brian's life insurance just in case with all the craziness he wants to try and is already trying.

Good Morning Becca

1986, hey we're moving quicker than I thought up here. Never heard of them before.

Cole does her last week at her dad's this week, :woohoo: We meet Mom's new oncologist on Monday. I'm hoping this one is willing to try something and not just write her off like the last one.

Angie, reminds me, you don't likee this doctor, get another one. I'll teach you how.

So Sorry you are bored maam. Here have a banana

oooo, thank you! I think I am rather low on potassium!

:rotfl2: That's funny!

:rotfl: That's right..."HAG"erstown! The place for me! :yay:

That's fun Brenden got to stay up and watch Phelpsie! That guy is awesome. Except it kinda seems like these gold medals are old hat for him now, he doesn't even look excited when he wins a race anymore.

Good morning sassy things!

Judi I'm glad you got a new Doctor. I hope this one will do wonders.
At first I laughed at the college picture then I realized that Kelsie will be going off in two years. Now I don't like that picture so much. :guilty:

Becca do you try to go camping most weekends? How far is it from home?

Did Angie report back from the Doctor?

Bonnie are you meeting a friend for lunch, a little shopping or the best of both worlds and do a little of both?

Hi Heather, Shannon. When does Wilma come back?

Hi Tricia! Nice to see you, hag!

Friend and I are meeting for lunch, shopping at outlets, movie and dinner! Long day, huh? :)

Good Morning Tricia

Not sure when Mrs. FoP returns. When I saw that picture, all I kept thinking is thank goodness she only 8th grade this year.;)

Bonnie that sounds like a great day. A long one mind you but a great day. I hope the weather holds off so you can show off the new hair.

Happy Friday. :teeth: I wish the gymnastics didn't come on so late. I keep falling asleep and missing out on so much.

I'm just so happy, I don't need a typing or spelling or proofing test today. My eyes and fingers are broke.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.:snooty:

Hi ladies!! Well, I have a bulging disc that is almost compromising my spinal column. I think that's the correct terninology. Where's Wilma when I need her? :teeth: Anywho, I don't have any weakness in my legs or feet or any er...um...bathroom problems (I have no idea how a bulging disc could cause problems in the urinary arena!!) so that's good. If I did I would have to go in for emergency surgery. And if I have any of those I'm supposed to go straight to the emergency room! So, I'm up for a round of 3 steroid injections and physical therapy. I am pretty happy about this, because I didn't want to have surgery and this could stop the pain. But, if the bulging doesn't go down with the shots than I will be looking at surgery. So, my question for all you mommies out there is who had an epidural and how much did it hurt? Cuz that's what these shots are supposed to feel like, and I'm not really looking forward to someone sticking a needle in my spine! :sad2:

Judi~I remember when I felt the same way Cole does about tampons! I just remember telling my mom you want me to put that where??? No way! :rotfl:

Tricia~I can't stay up for the Olympics either! I've been recording them and watching them when I get home from work. It's kinda nice, I can skip all the commercials and anything I don't want to watch. But, I always end up hearing what happened before I get to watch it cuz it's all over the news and the internet. Hooray for the girl gymnasts-Gold and Silver is awesome!! :cheer2:

Bex~hope you have fun camping! Is Michael Phelps inspiring Brendan? I think little swimmers everywhere are probably watching his every move and planning on how they can be the next swimming superstar! Misty May and Kerri Walsh are my heroes. :worship: They are awesome-I wish I could have them for personal trainers!!

Shannon~yes we expect you to make us laugh at least every other post, or we may issue you penalty points. ;) You can't save all the good stuff for the pie hole! Skateboarding, huh? I hope you're going to put him in full body armor!

Bonnie~what movie are you going to see and where are you eating? We never go anywhere anymore so I need to live vicariously through you! I know your hair will look fabulous! Hope you have a great time!

I love Michael Phelps too! He is kind of a doof out of the water, but man that boy can move. Doesn't hurt that he went to U of M either! I heard somewhere that there is a U of M connection in every olympics since forever or something. I should look up my facts or fiction if thats what it is.:rolleyes1

I have a question. What is with the 80s music during the beach volleyball matches? If I hear Angel is the centerfold one more time I may boycott it altogether! I think I will post it on the community board to see if anyone has the answer.

 I was saying the same thing!! I know they started that in the Athens Olympics-at least they started playing very loud rock 'n roll songs in between plays, and they also had those stupid half naked dancers who came out and danced around, too. I was wondering if it was the Olympics or a Pussycat Dolls concert!! :rotfl: I think the Chinese may believe the 80's songs are what we are listening to now. They're probably proud of their vast knowledge of Western pop culture!! Maybe someone should tell them they're about 20 years off! ;)

Afternoon ladi--- who are we kidding? There isn't a lady to be found within 5 miles of this thread!:rotfl2: (says the woman currently fishing almond pieces out of her teeth)

Just got back from the mall, where I was rudely reminded that I have no money for any of the fine things sold there. Why do I torture myself so? At least Riley had a good time in the squishy-floored play area. He loves those.

Interruption---
doorbell just rang. UPS dropped off flowers from my mom! They're pretty! Pink & yellow roses, orange and pink Gerbera daisies, pink lillies. Very suprising-- she doesn't usually do things like this!

Judi-- I apologize for my comment about your DH-- I thought you were hoping your DH would listen to his iPod and then be 5 minute man.:rotfl:

Angie-- Glad to hear there isn't any surgery needed for your back. As for the needle in the spine... Well, I ain't gonna lie. It's not exactly a spa treatment in paradise, but I've had worse & more painful things done. It's over fairly quickly, and I think the anticipation is more scary than the actual injection. Ok. That sounded like a euphimism for something else, didn't it? Moving on now...

Becca-- have fun camping! After dropping a small fortune on camping gear, we have yet to go! What's with that? And yes, Bonnie definitely belongs in Hagerstown. I am more of a Funkytown girl myself.

Riley is going to melt into a puddle of goo if I don't get off this 'puter and read to him. It's a rough life being 4.

Shannon, you can't fix stupid and we so needed to fix that thread

Think the shuffle would do it, or do I go for the touch;)
