Ok-- I'm going to spend some time reading back on this thread. If I'm going to start hanging out here with you goofballs I should at least know what I'm getting myself in to!

Anything I should know in advance? Nasty habits? Personal hygiene issues?

Morning, hags! How is everyone doing this fine day? It's almost Friday! Woot! I think I am fighting off a cold. Super tired and achy, but I am taking two multivitamins a day and Airborne and a nap. I am meeting up with a friend tomorrow and I don't wanna be sick for that!

Got my hair done yesterday. Holy 4 1/2 appointment! Granted, she was working back and forth between me and Heather, but still, most stylists do that and it usually never takes me longer than 3 hours...not till I started going to this chick! Still, I like her work, and because she is an associate it is much cheaper than a tier 3 stylist.

Hair is okay. I got the color of my lowlight changed. Instead of dark reddish-brown it is more of a beigey brown. Still have my blonde highlights though, and same style. But the bushiness has been trimmed up at least...the hedges have been clipped!

Good Morning

Alas, I am sad to report Rainbow Brite is only black & white now, not blonde but white Well she has a couple more weeks to pick the color, if any.
I must admit, the girls were thrilled to see each other, and so far, no my space, facebook etc. phone calls.

Mom had a good day yesterday. So let's all dance in the street.

Cole had 4 brackets move yesterday. So we go back in 2 weeks. But the ortho has gotten a Keurig K-pod coffee maker Kept me

Good morning Sassies! I have a funny Justin story that I forgot to post the other day. The boys went to VBS and on Sunday all the kids got to go up with their group in front of the congregation. Justin walked up turned around did rock n roll hands, waved them high in the air and opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue in a way that would make Gene Simmons proud. I was mortified, Brian was laughing, his parents looked like it was to be expected and the congregation was stifling laughter. I'm so glad we don't attend that church regularly. I asked him why he did it and he told me he looked out and thought he was a rock star with all those people looking at him so he acted like one. Sounds reasonable to me I guess.

Judi, glad mom had a good day yesterday. One day at a time is all you can do.

Bonnie, thats a long time! I'm sure you look fabulous, you always do. I finally had Brendan take a pic of my hair so I will post it at the pie hole today sometime. Hope you feel better, summer colds are no fun!

Shannon, you know we ain't normal thats all you need to know. Some of us are worse than others, but I won't point any fingers......Heather. Anyone who will take on Angelina is okay in my book! But you should have knocked her *** down, then you should have grabbed Brad and ran! Just saying that would have made for some good Cops material.

Yesterday the homework wasn't bad at all (about 1 hour). I think it was just that she had homework in all her subjects that one day. Let's just hope that doesn't happen everyday.

Our new store in town opened. Pamida. It's ok if you want to spend extra $ on things, instead of driving to the city. But we do now have a drive thru pharmacy

Good morning! Today's the big day-I FINALLY have my appt with the ortho. surgeon. I'm praying they have some ideas-last time I went to one he just told me to go home and take Advil. Don't you think I'd be doing that if it helped you jerk? Some doctors have no bedside manner!

Shannon~glad you came back! This thread has been quiet lately, we need all the help we can get. Unfortunately, I think as long as fertile Angelina keeps giving birth to Brad's babies we may be outta luck!

I have become obsessed with Michael Phelps. He's kinda geeky looking out of the pool, but when he's in his swimsuit and cap he's HOT!!! Proof: (Cole look away now)

I wish that was my hand!!! Maybe I'm just obsessed with his rock hard body! Mmmmmm....yummy!


Watching the Olympics makes me wanna start working out.

I love Michael Phelps too! He is kind of a doof out of the water, but man that boy can move. Doesn't hurt that he went to U of M either! I heard somewhere that there is a U of M connection in every olympics since forever or something. I should look up my facts or fiction if thats what it is.

I have a question. What is with the 80s music during the beach volleyball matches? If I hear Angel is the centerfold one more time I may boycott it altogether! I think I will post it on the community board to see if anyone has the answer.

Beccs-- I look for Justin on MTV Cribs in about 10 years! A star is born...

Tricia-- got my 1st Halloween catalog today too. Riley is disappointed in me because I don't have any plastic molds on hand to make him a skeleton like the one in the Lillian Vernon catalog. My bad.

Gotta go help my husband with his mid-midlife crisis toy. Yup. I am going downstairs to help him put parts on his new skateboard. I foresee a replacement hip surgery in the near future.

Good morning, Sunshines! :sun: How are all the hags today?

I am GREAT! Having a good hair day, which is good cause I'm driving to Hagerstown, MD today to meet up with a friend. Can't go lookin' scary. It's supposed to rain today so it might be all in vain if I end up looking like a drowned rat anyway!

Olympics is quite excellent! I stayed up till midnight to watch the gymnastics all-around. LOVED IT! I have not seen any men's gymnastics, but I'm not sure why. Hope I'm not just missing it! I love watching them do their tricks!

Michael Phelps...ooo la-la! That pic Angus posted of him is a little disturbing though, which his adventure trail showing!

Is anybody around? I'm bored at work and need friends!
