What can anyone tell me about this counter service? Is the food good? If not any suggestions for a counter service around POFQ? Thanks!

I personally haven't been here but people rave about the beignets which are only available there. You also have the option of going to the food court at POR which is a short walk from there. I have been to the POR food court and it's got great selections, including a make your own pasta bar. The food has been good each time I was there, but busy during peak hours as one can expect.

Beignets are only at POFQ. Highly recommend making a special trip for them!
They are made to order, with an ungodly amount of powdered sugar on top. Mmmmmm. . . powdered sugar. . .

is good though without a huge variety since the resort is small. We generally only have snacks for breakfast there and eat lunch once or twice per visit. Given that limited need we always find plenty to variety.

There only close CS location I would consider is POR. They have a design your own pasts station. I'm not one to travel for a CS meal. POR is a 10-15 minute walk depending on where you are staying in POFQ or, depending on the time of day, you can take the boat back and forth.

We've stayed there 2x & like it. It's basic CS. The beignets are good! It's like fried dough for breakfast! Enjoy your trip!

Just ate there 2 weeks ago. Although the selection is limited it includes some unusual items for a CS, pot roast and jambalaya, anyone? I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there.

The beignets are good but do not compare to what you would get in New Orleans. A nice treat.
