Anyone know where I could buy a sash to add to my dress? I'm looking for something pink with some kind of beading or detail. The one I liked at David's Bridal has been discontinued, and I can't seem to find anything online.

Thanks, girls. I looked on eBay too and didn't find quite what I have in mind, but I'll keep looking.

LOL We did!!! I think that they would be easy to make.

I had a sash on my dress. Actually, the sash was just a really wide ribbon, about four inches wide, and it was wrapped around my waist a couple of times, and tied in a bow. My sash was about $200 but I was given the sash "free" because I purchased my dress from the same designer. What you might be looking for is a wide ribbon by the Mokuba ribbon company. They are pricey, but it might give you a start on a search.
here's a sample of an almost 3 inch sash...not pink...sorry.

As far as adding sparkle, you could add a broach to the sash. Just remember, it will be very hard to tie a bow with it if beading is sewn on it.
I hope that helps! :cutie:

if you are crafty, make your own?

Maybe you can get a nice pink material, make the sash, and bead the ends. Then get another string or narrower piece of material and bead the heck out of that. Wrap that around after you tie the sash on...

ok, I have that pictured in my head, but I don't know if I've conveyed that correctly... :(

That does help, thanks! I haven't been able to look through the whole site, but I think I may be able to find something there

I was thinking about making my own if it came down to it, but I am not crafty AT ALL. I think if I do end up getting a sash, I'm just going to have to add a broach to it like others have suggested.
