Saratoga vs akl

We are looking to book a trip in October via DVC but Saratoga is the only one available...we've only stay at AKL. I was wondering other peoples review of Saratoga compared to AKL

I'm not so sure to "compare" Saratoga to AKL is fair. AKL and Saratoga are BOTH absolutely gorgeous resorts in completely different ways. We really truly loved both of them.

Obviously at AKL you have the animals, the artwork, the restaurants and great pools. At Saratoga they don't have the animals or the African art, but the main restaurant is considered a hidden gem (The Turf Club) and the quick service is supposedly very good (I didn't actually eat there though). And Saratoga's pool looked amazing, too!!

We found the beds to be equally comfy, the rooms to be equally spacious and laid out exactly the same. We thoroughly enjoyed hopping on the ferry boat from Saratoga to DTD. That was SUPER fast and very scenic and fun.

The only "difference" since they're both a deluxe, is that Saratoga's rooms are not accessed by an internal hallway like AKL's are.

I don't think you'd be disappointed at either place. Just choose the theme that you like and go have a ball! They're both beautiful!!
