When will this resort go on sale?

There is currently no information about sales for SSR. Speculation is that presales could begin as early as late summer or fall. Most likely, presales will begin once BCV sales end.

SSR is under construction now- due to be completed in Spring, 2004. The DVC sales office will reportedly be moved to SSR.

However, the use of the word "completed" may send the wrong message. The first new buildings are, in deed, scheduled to be completed in Spring 2004, which will allow guest occupancy at that time. Other buildings will come on line over line. And it's likely that there will be additional phases, because there's plenty of land at the old Disney Institute site.

Do they think that the end date will definitly be the same as the rest, 2042?

What's with that rumor about it having a new end date? I am very curious to see if this is true.

Werner is exactly right. The initial phase of the resort will open next year, but there is a lot of space available for further development - probably depandant on the success of the first phase.

There has been no announcement about any date other than Jan 31, 2042. Once sales actually begin, we'll have answers to other questions- like end date, point requirements and room details.
