Hi everyone! We're looking at going to WDW mid-late April and we're trying to decide which resort to stay at! We're a party of 3 adults; it's my father, my boyfriend and me.
It is for 6 nights and Caribbean Beach is the cheapest option available with a Pirate themed room!
The next option is to spend $200 more and go to a Saratoga Springs Studio for $200 more (for the 6 days in total).
The Cabins at Fort Wilderness is also $200 more for a whole cabin.
Of course, there's always the Polynesian, but it's an $800 addition to the week and even though I want it more than anything, I don't know that we can swing it right now.
Any advice is appreciated!

you, your bf and father - the cabins for privacy

of course the cabins have 2 beds plus bunks

the CBR only has 2 double beds

SSR has one queen bed plus a double sleeper sofa

the cabins have a full kitchen

ssr has a kitchenette

with CBR it can be a LONG walk to the food court

My family loves SSR property. It's quiet, the buses there have always been awesome for us, and we love being so close to downtown disney. We take the boat or the walking path over for dinner a lot! The studios are essentially a normal hotel room though. There's not a lot of space for you guys, and the CBR rooms are only 2 full beds. The pirate rooms are awesome, but I don't think you guys would have enough room there.

We've stayed in the cabins a lot too. If you're going with your dad and your boyfriend, you might like the space the cabins offer for the price. There's a fold out bed in the living room your dad can use, or he can take the bedroom (it has a full size bed and bunk beds inside it. And a door that shuts). We LOVE Fort Wilderness grounds. They're beautiful, the other guests are friendly, the CMs are great, and we love the boat to the Magic Kingdom.

I would say the cabins--offer a little more privacy with a separate bedroom. Also have a full kitchen which is nice for breakfast and snacks.
