Saratoga Springs Resort, what do you think?

We stayed in a 1BR at SSR in April. I liked it. I did not love it.

What I liked:
~full kitchen
~washer/dryer in our room
~beautifully decorated
~boat to DTD

What I didn't like:
~open air hallways made it seem like an apartment building to me rather than a hotel (like BWV) or a condo complex (like OKW)
~decorating, while beautiful, was very similar to how homes are decorated in my area (I live in southern CT, clsoe to NY)...I like staying someplace that has a completely different theme than what I can get at home...feels more like vacation
~very large and spread out

I voted Love It!

My DH and I walked the grounds about a year ago and thought it was large and maybe not to our taste. Well we stayed in a Studio in the Paddock area just about 2 weeks ago, and we absolutely loved it! We could not believe the wonderfully relaxing time we had there. The pools were awesome. The walk to the Carriage House did not seem lengthy, but peaceful. We didn't wait long for most buses. We had a beautiful water view. We could not have been happier!
