Saratoga Springs Resort Reviews

We like to stay in the 'Springs' area so we are close to the pool and the main complex area - none of the buildings are super far from the pool though - there are lots of walking short cuts and even a bridge as well - also you can take the internal bus around the resort or depending on where you are staying hop on any bus to get closer to the main area

In 07, they are adding another pool and a splash pad area

Cheers

Just got back yesterday from our Labor Day weekend getaway. We found the service was great, again. Buses ran on time, we had just missed a bus one morning and had to wait 15 minutes for the next one...no problem. I think like all of the resorts, its a matter of timing. Seating on the bus was very good. never had to stand the whole trip (unlike Christmas time). I did notice some of the other resort buses were jammed, like Port Orleans, Cornado springs, All Star Resorts.

Artist Pallete was excellent! The food is great, much better choices then just burgers. We did not eat at the Turf Club this past trip, but did so in July. Turf Club is also very good. Menu is limited, since its new, but still very good.

We stayed in the Congress Park section, first building from the lobby. We had DTD view...very nice. Room was clean and in great shape. No complaints from us. We had a dedicated two bedroom. Lots and lots of space to spread out for the wife and I, and our 12 & 15 year olds.

Great report tomandrobin, sounds like you had fun!. We are coming home for the first time this Dec. We are so excited. I can't wait,84 more days until SSR!

We just returned as well - what room where you in - we were in 2701 - also the first building closest the Springs area.

We also just got back from a Labor Day visit!! DH and I truely love this resort, and I am not saying that because I own there. I've stayed at many disney resorts and SSR was probably our best experience. The resort is just beautiful in everyway. We had a 1 br and it was perfect. We had the best location--we were in the Springs and the main pool and the food was a very quick walk. The food at Artist's Palatte is just great, and we loved renting DVD's for free up there too. We didn't eat a Turf Club because we hit Publix and did dinners at our "home".
