Saratoga Springs Question

Hey everyone! Quick question. Looking at a two bedroom villa at Saratoga for Dec. Is it worth it to go with the preferred room? Are those the refurbished ones or have most been refurbished already? It’s about $2-300 more for preferred over the four day stay so just weighing if it is worth going that route. Thank you for any insight!

By December all rooms will be finished refurbishment. Personally, because we have a car and because we don’t have mobility issues, we’d say save money and go Standard. That’s what we are doing in July.

Preferred is Congress Park (closest to DS) or The Springs (close to the Carriage House). Grandstand, Paddock and Carousel will be a bit further from each of those places, but not too far.

Thanks everyone! We will not have a car but as long as the rooms are the same I am okay with standard I think.

We always do standard. YMMV but we don't think the extra point cost is worth it for preferred location. Maybe as we get older, and go less frequently...

I prefer the Grandstand Section which is a Standard Location. It's the second closest section to the Carriage House (check-in, main dining & shopping). It's also the first stop for buses headed to a theme park.

Piggybacking on this...do the 2-bedrooms sleep 9 now? Video I watched made it look like it has the pulldown murphy bed over the couch, and the single pull down under the TV.

Yes. All SSR 2 bedrooms will now have sleeping surfaces for 9 when they finish the renovation this summer.

I believe they sleep 9 because the smaller Murphy bed

I was aware that even most if not all standard buildings are completed. My family is going to stay standard because of the cost. We talked about it and walking a few more minutes is better than spending more money
