Hello Everyone.. Thanks for your help!

Does anyone know if Saratoga Springs has nightly campfires?

Also which pool area has Pool party, activities, etc?

If anyone happens to have a copy of the recreational schedule I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks! :goodvibes

They have a marshmallow roast by the main pool. Both the main Springs pool and Paoddock Pool have afternoon DJ, pool games, and crafts. The Community Hall is located at the Springs pool.

The springs pool also has movies at night.
I do have to say that the Paddock pool is our favorite! IMOP better water slide, and it is great to ave food right there as well.
The Paddock pool has great food in the morning, my dd loved the croissant breakfast sandwich!
They also have a drink refill station there as well.
Our favorite used to be Congress Park for its location to DTD but after our plot stay there last summer we will now request the Paddock.

We just booked SSR for November, and we were wondering how the new pool was at the Paddock. Do you know if there is a smaller slide, say for my 4 yr old? Also, how is the walk to
DD?. Thanks!!!

The paddock has an entire enclosed water playground that is absolutely perfect for a 4 year old. It has at least two small slides that do not end in a pool of water so no worries there. My youngest is 7, and we loved the Paddock area pool. If the Community hall were there, we would never have left. The walk to dtd might be too long for a 4 year old. But my 11 year old and I did it one night and would do it again on a day when we did not go to the parks.

Thanks everyone! We requested the Springs area, we wanted to be near Community Hall as well.. But I would not be disappointed to get Paddock either!!

Cant wait!

We were there for the reopening of the paddock pool. Really enjoyed it, but the main pool (the springs) was great for most of our night pool time. Movies for the kids right next to the hot tub for the adults, and a quick walk up the steps to the turf club bar for drinks. The grandstand and paddock pool concessions are not open late to keep getting drinks at night. The slide at the Paddock was nice and it's pretty cool to know I was one of the first to use it :cool1:, but the Slide at BLT is bigger and faster. You will have a great time. My only beef with SSR is that it's not on the monorail :rotfl2:

When we were there in November, there was some working going on in the courtyard between the main pool and the DVC center. It kinda looked like they might be building something for a bigger campfire.

As for the Paddock pool, all my kids loved it. The last day we went to the Springs pool and my kids said they would have preferred going to the paddock pool.

It has a bar, but it is not open all night. And the bar selection is limited. We bring our own "juice" in a plastic container down to the pool with plastic cups, especially at night. Garden Grocer will get alcohol for you or you can wrap and pack a bottle.
