Saratoga Springs - need some tips

We have a short trip Memorial Day weekend - DH will be playing golf and we plan to do F&G. We have never stayed at SSR and the property looks huge. What building should we request? What’s closest to DS? We won’t have a car - are the bus stops spread out or at a central spot? Thanks

Not sure, but as we are staying at Old Key West in May I have been looking at the DVC resort threads. You may find your answers here on the SSR thread - (or ask directly)

I too recommend asking on the DVC Resorts SSR thread. Lots of help there, and you don’t have to own or rent DVC to post there!

So, bus stops are spread out around the resort. (see map below) If you want to be close to Disney Springs, your best bet would be to book a preferred location. The preferred locations are Congress Park and The Springs. The Springs is closest to restaurants/main pool/check-in area, etc., while Congress Park is the closest section to Disney Springs. If you look at the bottom right hand corner of the map, it’s right next to the walking path and would be your shortest walk from that location to DS. Hope that helps a bit!

If you are standard view, the Grandstand building next to Grandstand pool is best IMO. It is right next to a pool bar and drinks station, perhaps the closest building to the main building (it’s a close call) and first on and off the bus.

Theres a chance of a car park view in that building but even that isn’t bad.
