Saratoga Springs Building Requests

Now that we've had a few visitors to SSR...help me wade through all the great info! How many buildings are open now? We are going in mid-August. It's just DH and I and I'd like a DD view. I wouldn't mind being close to the Main Pool. What's the building I'm supposed to ask for??

Just returned from SSR today. At the present time there is only 1 building open. It looks like a second building will be opening in the next couple of weeks. If you are planning on using the main pool you would want to be in the first building (even from there it is a little hike to the main pool). Not a bad hike unless you are walking in 95+ degree temps like we had this past weekend. The main pool is really nice. Even the adults in our group enjoyed the slide and the other slide works great for the little ones.

We were in a studio on the first floor. We had a DTD view and it was really pretty to look out on at night. Enjoyed the nightly fireworks also.

By mid-August, the first four buildings should all be open. They line the waterfront, and a pretty much equidistant from the common area (and High Rock Spring).

The middle two buildings will bookend the quiet pool, so if that's of interest to you, you might want to add a "Quiet Pool View" to your request. But as far as travel time to the main pool, variances between the four buildings will be negligible.

BY then, I'd ask for one of the two middle buildings that are next to the quiet pool, because they are also next to the busstop. you can hop any bus and get off at the last stop near the pool, if you dont want to walk.
