Saratoga Springs accessible rooms

Hi

Hello everyone. I have not posted much so forgive me if I do something wrong! My health has gotten worse over our time going to Disney every year ( we are DVC members) I have mobility issues. I am not in a chair but use a walking stick or walking frame most of the time. I found it really hard to get in and out of the bath tub last year at Saratoga Springs to have a shower ( where we always stay ) so this year have booked an accessible studio. Disney dont seem to give the floor plans of these so I wondered if anybody could explain the room difference with a studio in a dvc resort? Is there still a vanity sink outside the bathroom for example or is it all now in the bathroom?

Saratoga Springs room layout is very similar to Beach Club Villas. Allearsnet.com has a fact sheet about Beach Club (even though the top of the page says Yacht Club). Scroll down the page a little and you will find links to accessible room photos

I've stayed in an accessible studio at SSR before. The room is the same size as any other studio but there is less "room" space as the bathroom is larger. For instance, the queen bed is nearly against the wall. Hopefully though you will be much more comfortable with a roll in shower. We've reserved a 2-bedroom villa at SSR for early March and I'm going to waitlist for OKW as at least I'm familiar with that layout.
