I always shared my toys in the sandbox, and still do. I have many
co- workers and friends who have the same comments about SSR.

I am not trying to ruin anyones vacation, I am just stating what happened to me while I was at the resort. I taked to friends and family and they expirienced similiar situations.

These boards are starting to become defend Disney to the death. I am not saying that people should not go to SSR, I am just stating that I may not return. However, if the other resorts were sold out and I had to stay at SSR, I would not be bummed about it.

Glad to hear that you share nice. I think what everyone is reacting to is not the critism but the harsh way you put things. Just like Ursula said now she is second guessing her choice. Some things are better off unsaid or atleast said tactfully. I am going back to my sandbox. Huff.

You call me a bigot because I had a lousy trip and my young children had to hear the F word more that 100 times while staying at SSR? My kids also almost stepped on half lit cigarettes while playing at the pool, NEAR THE KIDDIE AREA. I saw alot of TRASH at SSR and that's that. I did not expirience this at OKW or VWL. Was it possibly a bad week at SSR, yes.....but I am not going back there to see if it's better next time.

Reserve your bigot comments for someone that is truly a bigot. I come from a hard working middle class family who grew up on Spam, Schaffer and Wonder Bread. I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth, but I do know trash when I see it.

No, I called you that because of your generalisation that people at SSR are trash. Yes, you had a bad experience with some people there when you were, I don't dispute that. However you have implied with your blunt comments that the majority of people at SSR are like that, rather than that you were just unlucky with the people you encountered on your trip.

I am amazed that you can't see this, and that you haven't realised that maybe a small apology about your wording to SSR owners may not be a bad thing.

And what class you are has nothing to do with it. I'm not saying that you didn't encounter people who behaved badly. I have met many upper class, wealthy people who act terribly, swear like troopers and are totally inconsiderate of others.

What I am saying is that it's wrong to brand a whole set of people as trash because of a few people you met.

I have had the same experience a number of times at OKW and will never stay there again. It sounds like you had issues with ssr before you got there. But it comes down to the fact you chose to stay there again. Hope you don't stay there again.

I think the issue comes from, not so much the fact that you didn't like SSR, but the fact that you labled those who stay at SSR as "trash".

In my opinion, the difference is between saying "we ran into trashy people at SSR" and "SSR has lots of trashy people". There's a big difference between the two and that is what riled up everybody.
