Saratoga question

Are the rooms going to be refurbished Disney Institute rooms or did they start from scratch in building SSR?

We are booked for 10 nights in October in a two bedroom unit...can't wait!! I just love DVC...it's so fun trying all the different hotels!

Of course the SSR resort is new construction, but there was early speculations about what would happen to the former Treehouse Villias. Does anyone know if they are still there, any rumors as to what they may be used for and if they will ever be available to rent again?

When I was taking the boat from POR to DD back in October, they were still there and the boat driver said they were being used by Disney for internal use. I think it was mostly being used for the college program.

We just cruised by the treehouses a few weeks ago. On the outside, they were totally overgrown and abandoned looking. However we could see that they were still furnished. The boat driver said they were not in use right now.

The new construction is just georgus! I do think they are recycling some of the main buildings from DI for the common buildings, but not the guest rooms.
