When will Saratoga be open for guests??

I've heard May 4th 2004 but I could be wrong. Can anyone confirm??

Right now, DVC is suggesting May 1, 2004, but no firm/offical opening has been announced to my knowlegde.

I agree with Doc (professional courtesy ) - our Guide told us May 1, 2004. He also said - in his experience - new DVC resorts are more likely to open earlier than the stated date than later. He also pointed out the all new SSR owners (which is me! WooHoo!) will be able to make ressies starting Dec 1, 2003 - so they better know by then when the first SSR building will be done.

I called my guide about borrowing points for May (June use year) and she said the expected opening has been changed to May 17, 2004. She reminded me that points could not be used before opening - even if they open late. Hopefully they will open early though!
Trip not planned till May 30th so pixie dust to all those hoping to be there early May.
