Sarasota families - can you help me?

I need some ideas on where I could have my son's birthday party. He's six.

We used to have his b-days at the Rainforest Cafe in Seattle which was perfect, they even had little party sets you can ask for. But here, I am at a loss. We don't want to spend a huge amount, especially with Xmas coming, he wants to invite about ten kids so that is going to be expensive enough as it is, but we have no idea what to do.

What type/theme party are you looking to have?

We're not set on what we are going to do, just looking for some options. The problem with alot of places like the above are that most of my son's friends are in Nokomis/Osprey/Venice (he goes to Laurel Nokomis) so I would hate for people not to want to come because it was so far to go to someplace like Mote Marine.
