I am actually not too depressed this time! I had just enough time in the world. Had a good time and got the major bonus of meeting some Wish Families while I was there...so it rocked! And I am actually ready to be home. Even ready to go back to work.

Hello Leisa! How are ya? I am back and I will hopefully start the TR tomorrow!

Yes, that is it exactly isn't it? I have to say I'm quite envious... We were talking about going back just a few weeks ago and boom! there you are!

I am so sorry that you were not there, too! I thought I could actually walk through those doors casually and not cry. Who was I kidding?

It was such a quick trip. But very fun! I hope to be able to do that again at some point...to go back and meet some families while I am in the World.

Did you know you can go back at any time as a past wish family? They even give you a coupon for a free ice cream and a meal. And you can go to the parties, too! You just can't spend the night. You have to be gone by 11:30 PM. I was like, uh...I will be very asleep by then!

And it is totally on topic...because...uh...well, this was the week I left for DISNEY! (Yeah, that's it...)

Lauren was in a fund raising pageant at her school.

And...We're OFF!

Well...actually, I am off...there was no "we" on this part of the trip. It was just me, myself and I!

I got off work at 3:30 and was on the road, with a full tank and a full belly by...

Like my Pooh? I had great intentions of putting Pooh ooh: and Piglet in a bunch of my pictures while I was gone...it didn't happen.

But here is a pic of me!

I am GOING TO DISNEY!!!!

My goal was to get just past Tallahassee , so that I could be off in the morning and avoid the Tallahassee traffic! My drive was fairly uneventful...except for one small problem.

My route took me through Mobile, AL...and I forgot it was Mardi Gras weekend ...so roads were closed, blocked off and people were walking around everywhere! Slowed me down some.

Glad those blue lights weren't for me!!

But I did make it to Tallahassee and stayed in the Best Western Seminole Inn. Now this was interesting. It was late...after 11:00 PM and all I wanted was a bed.

Here is the room...not too bad, right?

But I got up the next morning and found these...

Shampoo...

I didn't open it! It was ALREADY OPEN!

Same with the soap...

Completely grossed me out!

I was glad to be packing up and getting out of there! And I won't be going back!! And the room was pretty expensive, too!

I headed out at 8:36 and arrived in the AK parking lot at....

I was really hoping to make it by 11ish...but I forgot that I would lose an hour going...and wanted to get a full nights rest! So, I opted to sleep a little longer and arrive a little later!

Sorry for the boring start ...it gets better fast!!!!

Horray, we're all ramped up and ready to go! I think it WAS a nice room- but open shampoo would have grossed me out too. But, I probably would have used it, though. Living overseas here where we eat cooked sheep's heads and cow guts on an occassional basis puts "gross" into perspective. At least you had in INDOOR toilet too .

Looking forward to seeing what the beasties at AK had cooked up for you!

It even came with an indoor toilet!

Aw! thanks! I was so excited to get to stay! And it has worked out perfectly, because I had an extra vacation day that I was not aware of...so it was perfect!

It will be a while before I get to the meat of my report. I am waiting for my photopass (and I am in a group) because many of my pics are photopass since I was by myself! And the good ones of Sarah and Amy, too! I should be able to get through the first night, though! And maybe into the next day.

I am home sick today. Good thing it is Saturday. But that means I could not keep Lauren today. I sound like a frog. So I am about to take a nap. And I just got up. Oh well...
