Made our first reservation today...nothing too fancy just for rainforest cafe at Animal Kingdom! I will probably try for Chef Mickey's tomorrow, I was trying to figure out a bit of an itinerary first! Hope everyone is having a great start to their summer...ours is going pretty well

It's a start ! We love Rainforest .. we're lucky enough to have one near us and I go there once in awhile just to "feel" like we're in Disney !

My friend just loaned me a couple of Disney books to help in the planning...it is all so overwhelming! I have a non-Disney question...I was looking Shark's Underwater Grill at Seaworld, had anyone been there, and do you know if you can make reservations? I was going to look into Epcot, it seems like someone mentioned that by Nemo there is a restaurant that has fish tanks, or fish swimming around it. Does that sound right??

We are getting ready to go camping over the fourth, hopefully it is fun for Sarah! It has been in the 90's here and it looks like no relief headed next week either. My girl doesn't love the heat!

Thanks! We had a great fourth camping with friends. We did come home a day early because we had had enough of the 95 plus degree weather...that is why we requested fall for Sarah's wish trip!

I did check out Coral Reef...looks fun. Maybe I will book that one today! We got our flight times in the mail. We get into Orlando at 1030 in the am on our first day, so I am hoping they still do an early afternoon orientation??

We did also make reservations at Coral Reef! Also found out that Make A Wish is getting us a hotel in Detroit the night before our flight!

That is great they are getting you a hotel the night before. You never know what the weather will be like. We are doing the same thing. I am booking a hotel that will cover our parking the whole time we are gone. I would rather not stress that hey it snowed last night since we have a lot of back roads to travel before we can get on the highway....

I have been missing out on checking out the forum because I have been at the hospital with Sarah for the last week with no lap top. Sophie left us her iPad yesterday so I can catch up a little. Not sure how long we will be here, we are at a rehab hospital because Sarah had lost so much strength over the last few months. Fingers crossed we will be home within the next family...always sucks having the family apart!

Sorry you're inpatient, hope they can decrease the seizures!
We didn't think much about a wish trip either, until a friend with a special needs child submitted our name to the organization they got a trip from. We went when my daughter was 10! It was a great trip!

Hi! I wanted to let you knw that I popped in to read your PTR. My son Luke as seizures also. Seizure med combos suck. His make him sleep a lot. School ucannot even keep him awake for long stretches during the day. He has his own cot in the room. ( he's a third grader in level three special education class) . Anyway, we are hoping for November dates also! I am excited to see so many November families on here! I hope to start my own PTR soon. I hope your dd stays healthy and can reunite with the fam soon.

Not much going on here, just spent the last week catching up on everything after being at the hospital for ten days! Sarah is doing well, we spent some time on our friends' pontoon yesterday and did a little swimming

Later tonight when I have some quiet time I will try to add a few newer pics of Sarah on here...I always have to remind myself how because I never use photobucket

We are having fun here watching the Olympics, although Sarah is pretty partial to watching the Detroit Tigers when they are on tv...she is funny when she decides she wants something! Definitely has a mind of her own and will take the remote from me and just start pushing buttons to try to find what she wants!
