Sara & Ryan's Wishes PJ & TR ~ 8/17/10 WP/GF/Marina ~ 1/22 Thank you!

Why do men always do stuff like that?
Thank you! DF will be so excited. He loves any type of baked bread/cake.

I agree I like the white over ivory, there's just something about it. The embossing looks great! We looked at that dish set as well, but decided not to put any dishes on our registry, it is a very nice set.

I love Monkey Bread! Just make sure you always use a form of real butter, I used I Can't Believe it's not Butter once to save the calories and it just wasn't the same, it's all about the real stuff :rotfl:

Yay for deciding on the white dress! You are going to look beautiful!! Your embossing looks great. And that Monkey Bread sounds delicious, I'm so tempted to make it, but I know I would eat it all and I'm on weight watchers and can't do that, it doesn't sound very healthy! =)

Great china - love it.

Thanks! Me too :goodvibes

lol, I don't know, I was really annoyed too! I hope your DF loves it! Everyone at work was going crazy over it. They have been talking about it non-stop and a bunch of them are going to make it over the weekend. One of the guys shouted out "Monkey Bread!" today and I swear one of the girls almost jumped out of her chair to go get some! :lmao:

I agree, it's just so fresh and clean and bright. And it's not like you're ever going to be able to wear a big white dress again. :cutie: Thanks! Now I just have to find a powder that goes with the new envelopes. Lol, we weren't going to either....but that BB&B lady is really convincing!

That's so funny that you say that...the recipe when I found it called for margarine, but I made sure to sub that for butter! Butter makes everything better! Yes, I suspect it's the type of thing you have to just go all out on. ;)

Aww, thanks so much! :goodvibes Oh man, it is so not healthy....so much sugar and it's addicting! It's the perfect thing to bring if you need to go somewhere though, because then you can't eat too much and you can leave it there. ;)

I seriously love the embossing you've done! I was between two minds about getting our invitations professionally letterpressed, but the cost is crazy for something that people will probably throw out, even though I love the look.

This sounds definitely doable, so I'm going to buy a heat tool and embossing powder and have a go at it! We're also getting our invites from Cards and Pockets. Thanks for the idea :)

The pictures are gorgeous! I don't think I would want any one to sign it either  but it would be a gorgeous guest book.

SO beautiful! I love!

I had kinda forgotten about it, what a nice surprise! :goodvibes I love it too!

It looks great.

Thanks! I can't wait to see it in person. :)

Aww I can't see it at work :(

Silly work blocking websites :sad2:

Thanks! I felt the exact same way, we were going to get them done but it seemed silly to spend so much on something pretty much everyone will throw away and I figured the money would be better spent on something at the wedding.

It was really easy and the tools are not that expensive. We have craft stores that have weekly coupons, so it was even cheaper. I have found though that the glitter powders, even though they look pretty in the jar, don't work so well and the glitter doesn't melt. I like the metallic and the opaque. The Zing brand ones seem to work best of the ones I've tried.

I did try it on an actual invite, I used the pearl metallic cardstock and it did look nice, so it could definitely work. You just need a material where the ink won't dry quickly, like the metallic cardstock / envelope or vellum.

If you have any questions when you actually do it, feel free to ask. :)

Thanks so much! :goodvibes I know, I feel like I might get really mad at people for messing it up. :rotfl2:

I love your guestbook layout. It's gorgeous!! I don't blame you for not wanting people to write in it, I don't think I would either!

I love your pics! You both look so great!! I really love your dress as well....I want to find something like it for my rehearsal dinner!

Thanks! Lol, I know, I feel like that would ruin it. :lmao: We'll have to see how I feel once I get it.

the guest book is great!!! it turned out wonderful!

Thanks! I'm very excited about it, I can't wait to get it! :goodvibes

Aww, thanks! A lot of it is the magic of make-up and photography! I really liked that dress too, it's so summery and comfortable. I got it at Ann Taylor Loft over the summer but I saw similar things in Lord & Taylor...you may even be able to find something on sale now that the summer's over. ;)

your guestbook looks beautiful! they did a great job:thumbsup2

Your guest book is great! I agree though, too bad people have to sign it... that's the problem with having such an awesome guest book.
