Sapphire Falls-thin walls/dogs?

I have seen a number of Tripadvisor reviews saying that the walls are thin at Sapphire Falls and also a number mentioned issues with owners leaving their dogs in their rooms and the dogs are barking/whining (sad!). I am a light sleeper. Has anyone else had these issues? Thank you.

The dogs are all in the “dog hallway,” which is the first floor of building 2. The walls are thin and dogs can be heard barking, especially through the connecting doors or out in the hall. But I’ve definitely stayed in must worse (AoA we could hear our neighbors’ normal volume conversations word for word). I would equate the sound bleed at SF with most apartment buildings I’ve lived in. I kept my TV on to keep my dogs from hearing the other dogs and barking back. Worked fine. I also only really noticed it during park hours. Much quieter at night, when the owners are presumably back in the room with them. I noticed it more when returning during the day to walk mine. If you are not traveling with a pet, just request not to be near any of the pet rooms and it should not be an issue for it. If you do have pets, Fwiw, we’re going back to SF in a couple weeks, again with the dogs. Found the room quality, pet area, pet fees/friendliness much more welcoming and reasonable than Disney. My dogs were happy there, but super stressed at AoA.

I heard a dog once over a 6 night stay that ended Tuesday. It was brief, like a minute or two. I don’t know where the dog was , we were on the 6 th floor guest house 2. I’m a light sleeper and had zero issues with noise. This was our third stay at Sapphire.

I didn’t stay in dog part but never heard anything from neighbours.

We were on the 4th floor (that's the same one as the lobby, right?) of Guest House 2 during our April 2 - April 6 stay.

I clearly didn't hear any barking and until just now I didn't know there was a "dog hallway" :)

CB has what I consider ‘thin walls’. Quite the lively resort, seems a higher ratio of kids there

Knock on wood, have lost count of stays at SF. Never a noise issue for in any of the wings
