Santa Helpers - DS 7

Stumped for presents for twin DS 7. They want Ground Force Drifters but it is out of budget and they already have Green Machines. What are you buying your 7s? I am trying to stay within a budget ideally need one $50 - $75 range and a couple smaller things. Thanks for sharing!

My 7 year olds are getting a dsi, ipod nano, ds games, and a board game. Ds7 is getting cool soccer cleats (he usually wears ds12's hand me downs).

I had to go look up what the 2 things you listed were,lol. I also have a ds7 and he would love those too! I might have to look at the green machine for his birthday, do they work well?
Anyway to answer your question I bought a razor power wing scooter for my kids to share. Its not a normal scooter, it really goes without any effort -FAST! I was surprised when they tried it out at TRU- they were whipping around corners so fast in the bike dept, I was scared, lol. They both loved it, and they are 7 and 10. It just moves on its own as you shift your weight. $81, I believe at amazon right now.
Also, last year i bought ds a bike ramp from TRU-best purchase ever-he loves it, and so do all the neighbor kids,lol. DS is now riding bmx-and winning- thanks in part to that

Green Machine - we have two and they are their prized possession! They are awesome. DH and I bought because we remembered them from our childhood. They are very similar to the old school big wheels. My 16 yr old and her friends have been known to take them for a spin.

The boys got them for their bday. And suddenly we had all the neighborhood kids over wanting to ride (we had to limit that). Great purchase!

They got DSs for xmas last year. They will each get a new game and a game for the Wii. I am avoiding the ipod for now. They are very active and play outside a lot.

So is mine, so I am going to follow your thread closely There isn't 1 day that child doesn't play outside during the year, any weather. When its nice, it's all day long outdoors.
Marshmallow shooters, nerf guns, bug catchers/habitats, rc cars that can go in water-smaller things I can think of...
Also wanting archery, but I'm scared

We have the nerf guns, bike, scooter, DS, etc etc.
So this Christmas he is getting the normal legos and then I am making a bag full of toys for his brain and hands: snap circuits, a book on making paper airplanes, pop bottle science, a nintendo puzzle. I would like to think of a few more things to add.

I have a ds8 and he is getting:
-Kan Jam game (loved it last summer - likely will setup in our basement for the winter)
-Full (hopefully - still need to get a few) set of Magic Tree House books
- Mater wii game
-kung zhu pets and 'battle arena'
-pillow pet
-remote control big car/robot thing - hugely on clearance
-Diary of a Wimpy Kid DIY book (already has all the books)

All told - all for about $150 total hopefully - another $30 or so likely on stocking stuff (vitamins, toothbrush, candy, a couple of Mario figurines, socks)

As you can imagine he is not getting all of it (None of the Electronics - especially the Parrot AR Drone - that sucker's $300 ). But we have them make big lists because they go out to all the family as well as Santa.

ETA - he also just asked for a Hot Wheels Trick Tracks (sp?)
