Hard to ignore her...she'll walk next door and stand over me until I hit accept. She walks into my house whenever she pleases without calling/knocking/etc. I didn't know you could delete friends...maybe I could accept her and delete her.

I would seriously twitch from head to toe if my MIL could just walk into my house. It's bad enough if I stay visiting at their house too long, my eye starts to twitch.

I would go with the whole deleting thing. My goodness, don't ever tell her about the DIS!

She does live next door. I saw her twice last night. There is no school today because of the snow so she must be home bored. I checked her acct. She has no friends. Which means my SIL hasn't even accepted her!

I know she is going to friend request my poor mother now. I probably should call and warn her.

Extra makeup is normal for you...you have a lot of things to try! I don't have extra makeup so that bag is always the last thing to get packed.

So today I got a 40% off code in my email. Perfect to use for my October trip right??? Ya, not so much.

DD's bday is on 10/24. Code starts 10/25. No problem, I'll just pay rack rate for the extra two nights that we were going to be there BEFORE the code starts. So I call Disney. Ya, I can't do that. I CAN make two separate reservations but of course can't be guaranteed that they won't make me change rooms.

But wait, I have an AP so I can make a ressie with an AP rate for the first two nights and then use the 40% off code for the rest. This will work but only if I don't get a package. If I use my AP to book the first days, tickets won't be included but I can get the DDP. But then I won't have tickets. And I can't buy tickets for length of stay for DH and DD. Why you may ask? Well if you book with an AP rate you can get the DDP without adding tickets (kinda a half package deal). BUT with the 40% off package, you need to get both tickets AND the DDP. If I buy the tickets with the 2nd (40%)reservation, they won't be activated until 10/25 so they won't have tickets for the first two days! And of course I'm not buying 1 day tickets each day for them!

I ended up hanging up on the poor CM because I was so confused. Luckily she wasn't nearly as confused as I was so was able to explain all this. Now I need to go home and do Disney math and figure out how I'm going to do this!!!

I'm thinking that I will book the 2nd part of the trip with the 40% as room only. Then, when the AP rates for October come out, I'll add the additional two days. I'll have to pay for their tickets and all the food OOP but I think this makes the most sense as of right now..

Holy Heck Batman, they are really rolling out those 40% codes! I want one! I keep checking my and Marc's email but no luck so far.

Alright, I'm a bit confused. You have to get tickets and the DDP to get the 40%, that doesn't make sense? Usually they don't make you get the DDP with a code like that, do they? I thought you just had the option if you wanted too.

I would call and speak to another CM. Maybe you just didn't get the right answers. Stranger things have happened. Do you want the DDP at all? I am so confused.

October trip is only going to be 4-5 nights (we haven't decided yet...depends on the school schedule). And yes, I can only get DDP on my AP ressie for the nights on that ressie (so in this case two nights).

I hate confusing myself to save a buck!!!

I got one of those 40% off codes too... but it was for passholders. I could get the DDP without tickets.... maybe you could call and check if yours could be applied that way?? Wouldn't hurt, especially since they're sending them AP specific too.

Hmmm...maybe I should. The code I got didn't say anything about passholders though. If I book the whole thing with the AP rate, I could get the DDP but they told me the passholder rate was only 30% off....maybe I should call back.

I got my travel documents

And BOY did they step up the quality of the documents for 2009. I was so confused at first because I thought it was more park propaganda! Nope, they just changed everything into pretty pamphlets for your family/traveling party.
