Welcome Home!! I thought about you often over the last few days but I am sad you are home already. If it went by fast for me, I can't imagine how you feel!

I am home already but it's ok. I had a blast but I was ready to come home. I missed my family. Disney was a little weird without them.

I'm back and downloading pics!!! Hope to start a TR soon! We had a fantastic time and I'm completely exhausted right now (which of course means I had a good time!!!! Stay tuned!!!!

Aisling can bring Miss Claudia (her Asian AG doll that she tells everyone she adopted from Korea!) Her and Jord can hang out

BTW, I got the best pic of Karen and HeatherSue kissing Jord!!!

I have that doll, mine is named Miko! She is "pre" Morgan LOL. Morgan now wants to travel with Luthie (Ruthie from AG), Miko AND Jord. She knows Miko is Mommys, but trys to "borrow" her LOL.

Aisling isn't allowed to travel with Miss Claudia (or Kit or Chrissa...the doll that she got while I was gone last weekend!). I'm so afraid something will happen to them Kit got to go see Grinch the Musical for Christmas so that was a big deal so now the other dolls are "jealous". Maybe I'll let one of them go to Disney on Ice tomorrow

My fellow DISer LL is unable to go to Disney On Ice so she generously offered the tickets to us (and since I KNOW that DH didn't have a THING planned for V-day...or as I like to refer to it...Saturday ) we took them. Don't know what to dress Aisling in since it's Valentine's Day and Disney...too many options.

On a completely unrelated and very sad note, my next-door neighbors' daughter is in the Navy. This morning they were visited by 2 Naval Officers. The worst part of it is that according to the news articles we found by googling her name, she was murdered by her boyfriend yesterday afternoon. So it's a pretty somber day. My DH and his sister grew up with this girl so nobody is taking it very well.

Thanks Ladies...it's been a tough day and it's going to be a tough week. She will be flown home for services and then buried in Arlington National Cemetary. Please keep her family in your prayers

That is so terrible about your neighbor. Loosing a loved one is never easy, but murder seems to make it especially hard.

When are you'll going in October? Dallas' fall break is in October but the way I feel right now, we won't be going to Disney for a LONG time! I hate being sick and even though it has nothing to do with disney, I put the two together!

Right now we are planning to go from the 23rd-27th. (Aisling's bday is on the 24th) We'll make our final decision on days when we get the school calendar. I hope you guys can make it. We are planning on mostly sticking to MK and Epcot and of course going to MNSSHP.

So we spent Valentine's Day like most couples....oh wait, that's not right. We spent it together but with our 5 year old...at Disney on Ice! Thanks to DISer Lady Lallie, we got the tickets this week and got fab seats. I PROMISED that I would take lots of pictures...which I did. This isn't half of them!

We started off with some rediculously expensive treats...between hot dogs all around, sodas for us parents, a Tink slush for DD, and some popcorn we were $50 poorer before we even sat down! Here is DH and DD enjoying their snacks

Can't go to Disney on Ice without getting a $12 cup of slush can you???

I mean, they are so good, you almost need 2 utensils to eat them fast enough.

Finally the show was ready to start

First up was Mickey and Minnie

Their little red car broke down but don't worry, someone will come to save them

Next up was the Car segment

After that...we went under the sea

Lest you think my DH wouldn't enjoy Disney on Ice....you would be wrong. He was loving it

DD was obviously captivated

Up next we traveled to Africa. I think this one was a bit of a stretch for a "world of fantasy" but we went with it

There was some particularly good skating in this part

We were certainly still enjoying it all

The entire 2nd act was devoted to Miss Tink. They basically redid most of the movie

After all was said and done...this is what I faced

BUT...we still decided to stay for the after-show where they do the "behind the scenes" magic thing. DD loved it because she really bought that she was now privy to information that ordinary citizens are not

That looked like fun. I love disney on ice, the rest of my family not so much though. I am not sure if I would have liked the Tink part though, the whole fairy thing I am quite unsure of.

I love Tink but all the other fairies are still throwing me off. I think I really need to watch the movie all the way through! I do love that song that Selena Gomez from Wizards of Waverly Place sings though and they played it a LOT last night.
