Sorry another question, any recommendations for either to help me choose, It's for 2 nights and we'll have our own vehicle, we have 2 kids - 10 & 5.
Thanks:)

Personally I'd go for a two bed cabin at the DCR. Simply because then you could give the kids thier own room and there is a lot more space for them, plus you'd get the use of a swimming pool too.

I've stayed at both. The main advantage of the Santa Fe is that it is within walking distance (20 minutes) however the children would have to share a double bed at the Santa Fe.

If you wanted them to have seperate (bunk) beds then it would be either the DCR or the Cheyenne.

I'd say DCR.

As you'll get an awesome pool, and the kids can have their own room.

It's only like a 6 minute drive I think.

It's about 10-15 minutes drive to be honest. We were in the trail closest to the Village and that was 5 minutes to the exit of the DCR :goodvibes

Ahh, sorry to misinform you jules! I've never been to dcr - jsut going by a recent report I read!

Your doggie is too cute btw!

While being in a hotel that is walkable to the parks is a wonderful perk. It will come as no surprise that my vote and money would be for DCR :thumbsup2
Only reason not to pick here is if you don't have transport :)

I have never been to DCR but just because we dont drive there.
If we would that would be my choice: it's cheaper and it looks good fun from what i have read and seen on photos and brochures:thumbsup2 .
And anyway after the last time i say *NEVER NEVER AGAIN* a double bed for my kids LOL:rotfl:

DCR - I think it looks really fun and I really don't like the Santa Fe (sorry Santa fe fans!)

S'alright gemmybear, you're forgiven - everyone's entitled to their opinion :goodvibes. I have to say, the DCR pool does look like great fun!
