If you wait until after Thanksgiving, you'll also have Harry Potter (coming out 11/15) and Treasure Planet (11/27?) to go to. We loved Santa Clause 2. Especially the faculty Christmas party. We went on Friday night - no crowds (we were wondering where they were) and may go again next weekend.

We also really liked it. I was funny and very good for a sequel. We saw it Oct 27 thru a free screening for disney club members.

I can't wait to see it. They made the whole movie in Vancouver. They had notices out to all the schools for a big open call for the 'elves'. The kids only got paid min. wage and missed TONS of school. There was a lot of controversy over it.
I think it was a chance of a lifetime for those kids and they must have had a blast!!
My daughter was shortlisted for the part of tim allen's niece (lucy I think??). They had the part down to 3 girls....2 canadian and 1 american. When making movies in Canada, they have to have a certain % of the cast be american......they needed another one, so the role went to the little american girl. My daughter was heartbroken! What a cool movie to be in eh????? Anyway I can't wait to see it! My DD wants to see it too! It will be fun to watch a scene that was 'almost' yours!!!!!

I also loved the faculty party scene. Those toys brought back a ton of memories. I think I had every one of them at some point in my life. I wonder where they got them all, and in brand new condition yet!

Saw it yesterday and loved it. (DS’s 5 and 10)

Jeafl is right that part of the movie is great. It made me feel like I was a kid again.

I don’t know why SCII only got 2 stars in some newspapers.

PS- stay for the first few minutes of the credits.

We went to see it Saturday and we loved it too.... my ds (who is 5) liked it but did get a little bored.... sitting still is not his thing! He talked a lot about it after we got home though!

My dd keeps saying.... "I like RULES"
