Santa Claus at DTD

Does Santa Claus stay in DTD in the week after Christmas or does he go back to the North Pole on 26th December??

Its just that the Christmas parades last until January 1st and i wondered if Santa hung around until then as well?

I don't remember ever seeing him after Christmas. I think they have the area roped off and don't allow anyone in there.
