Sanjaya, like Antonella, has a huge fanbase. Not here but on the AI boards. Of course there are the detractors but remember, this is not Survivor, we cannot vote someone OFF. If that were the case Sanjanella wouldn't ever been on out screens!!

It gives AI LOTS of buzz AND VFTW has gotten more press today than it has since it's inception. Sanjaya is the comic relief now, in a very humdrum season.

YOU lamblast him, as do others... but if you go back about 10 or 15 pages you will see that yes, some are voting for him because they feel bad. Or because their daughter thought he was cute so the parent votes a million times. Yes-- some actually vote for him because they feel sorry. Its sickening because yes-- its his time to go.

Bawhaha! I say that every week. Last night when Phil was in the bottom 3 I was surprised but then I looked at DH and said it's his shiny head, dude needs a hat.

It's a report done by GMA (I think) basically saying that the only reason Sanjaya's still on is because of Howard Stern and votefortheworst.com.

On The Today Show this am, there was a segment talking about the movement to keep Sanjaya on AI. The clip mentioned VFTW site and Howard Stern encouraging his listeners to vote for him as well. Meredith Vierra thinks he's cute and a likable guy and that maybe that has something to do with him remaining as well.

Personally, I agree with everyone - he needs to go. I have never voted for him and never will. However, I, too, feel sorry for him. He's trying. He needs to be in some cute boy band for all the teeny boppers and his other fans to enjoy.

I agree. Once he is voted off, I can see Nickelodeon or Disney picking him up to be some pre-teen idol. Hey, he could be the Donny Osmond of his generation!! He certainly has the teeth for it!

I don't feel sorry for him, and I bet none of you will either when he takes all this attention and laughs right to the BANK!

The boy has the elusive "it" factor, no matter how you look at it. There is something about him that is appealing to people. I don't think he can sing very well, but he has a certain spark about him. I bet even if he does get kicked off next week or the week after, we haven't seen the last of him!
