Well, the overall opinion was it was pretty good. I had a bottle of red & white each on hand, & a bottle of pre-mixed sangria, which I used as my second bottle of red. I dont suggest it tho, or cut back on the sugar if you do. To even it out, I added the bottle of white, which actually made it quite good. There were 6 of us, who were drinking it over the course of the day & I think there can't be more than a glass left.
In case you need a fix, you can get a glass of sangria from the window service on the Boardwalk where they serve pizza outside Spoodles. Yes, I found this by accident - no, I didn't need to know this
Wine 2/3 glass
Sugar or simple syrup about a tsp
brandy about a splash
club soda or Sprite to sweeten it more if needed...this tops off the glass
Some places add a little triple sec about a splash
fruit for garnish
Make it in the glass with ice, pour into a shaker, shake, pour back in glass and garnish.
