Sangra at HDDR....

Whta kind of drink is Sangra, at the Hoop Dee Doo........ If it is good, it might be worth paying almost $50 for me and my dh..

Sangria is a wine infused with fruit juice. It keeps the alcohol content down, and appeals more to the palate of people who don't normally like wine. Wine conisseurs might not want to drink it, but I personally like it. It can be bought at commercial outlets - One brand I remember is Yago
Sangria. A steak chain called "Steak and Brew", which might not exist anymore, used to serve it in pitchers with your meal. I don't know if this helps. Try to find a bottle before you make a decision maybe.

I usually like Sangria, but did not care for the flavour of the one at HDD. I thought it was rather bitter. Switched to beer and all was well again.

SamS described sangria perfectly for you. I'll just add that I had read several comments similar to 2disneywego's before we went, but you know what? I was pleasantly surprised when I got there. We all (nine of us) enjoyed the sangria they served at the Hoop Dee Doo.

Well, I hate beer and wine. So I'm hoping I will like the flavor of the sangria at the Hoop Dee Doo... I do like Rum punch and other fruit drinks, as long as it does not taste like berries... Yuck!

I'm not sure if other restaurants serve it as well, but if you're apprehensive about trying it at HDD, I know Spoodles has it as well. I'm not sure if both restaurants get it from the same place, but DW and I thought it was as good as we've had in receont memory. If you're at the BW before you go to HDD and need a quick break, you can always give it a shot.
