Sanford International Airport - towncar service?

Family member is thinking about flying into Sanford International Airport. He will not want to rent a car.

Has anyone used a towncar service from Sanford to a Disney hotel?

How long did it take to get to the hotel?

Also, how was your experience flying in and out of that airport?

Wonderful smaller airport. I've flown in there and it is so very easy to navigate. I'll be flying in there again in April and again in Oct.
It takes about 50 mins to get to WDW from Sanford. We did use a car service, Tiffany Towncar, there. The thing to remember is that it is almost twice the cost of a MCO to WDW run for a towncar.

Thanks for the information. We love Tiffany Towncar. They'll have to factor in the extra cost when deciding whether to fly to Sanford or MCO.

Absolutely. It's amazing how many people see great fares into Sanford, book it and then go nuts when they realize WDW doesn't offer any shuttles from there!!
You do have to factor in transportation costs when flying in there.

We flew into Sanford last time as Airfare was really cheap we used FL Tours and I can only praise their service extremely highly, they waited for us no problem even though plane very delayed, they sent a people carrier type car instead of towncar knowing our luggage was gonna make towncar a squeeze their communications were excellent, they offered us a grocery stop, our driver was amazing he pointed loads out to us and the kids en-route, price wise it was 2 journeys one to hotel and one home to airport I think it was around $249 (2 Years ago) this time in May flying BA to Orlando although if we didnt have magical express would definately use them again.
