With mine, they were waiting for a quote from landscaping so it took a month. But dont worry. You will get it, and then have your jaw drop and the price like all disney brides... jk. They wanted 10 grand for my trees!!! that made my jaw drop.

10 grand!!!! Hope it came with a warning-like the rides- do not open if you have a heart condition are in poor health.....

You must have good taste-will be waiting for a TR with the pics!!

I'm sorry, today it has been a month since my phone session with Rose (floral) and she said it would be another week. My planner sent me the BEO without floral two weeks after our phone session. Maybe Disney floral is backlogged. There must be doing tons of BEOs for all of the May/June/July weddings and VR's coming up.

Very true- a popular time of year! I am being very impatient ! I'm sure there are going to be changes I just want to be able to figure out what!

Well, part of the BEO came-strange Floral before everything else!!!

That sums it up!

We aren't having a bridal party-just us and our boys, no extra bouquets, a restaurant reception- UGH! Not sure how it made it to $3000. Now we play with it! We already had wanted to upgrade the chairs at the ceremony and add small lighted things to the tables at the dessert party!(which arent included in the quote we got!)

Not sure if you listed it earlier but what is in your floral budget. I am having my first phone planning session on floral this Friday and I want to make sure I don't ask for too much. We will be heading down to WDW in May to do an in person meeting also.

Don't worry too much about the original estimates. I cut mine down by $1,200 from the original price and that includes adding another $500 in items, so really I would have cut $1,700. Disney Floral was pretty good to work with on finding ways to cut costs.

Here is my floral budget(today) our colors will be light pinks and creams

my bouquet-$275 (roses,peonies and a few others)
crystals for bouquet $24
replacement/refreshing of bouquet for MK photo shoot $100-I think this will go!!

boutennieres
groom $18 ($15 + $3 crystal, for hidden mickey)-rose
2 best men -double stephanotis($15 ea/ $6 crystals)
1 ring bearer-single stephanotis (10.50/$3 crystal)
my dad -triple stephanotis w/ mickey's -$29

i didnt realized stephanotis would be more expensive than the rose-I didnt want roses for the boys-they dont hold up good enough!!!Laura suggested the stephanotis

The ceremony-

sand ceremony-$35 + $25 for rental of bed vases(5) our sand ceremony is more because we are doing our boys and us - 5 all together

4 urns- 2 for bottom of stairs and 2 for bottom- leading up to the ceremony spot(to be moved to reception) $200 each- total of $800
urn rental fee $60

chairs-these are not included in our budget-we were thinking about upgrading
wooden white chairs $5 each /$180 set up fee.

rose petals in chiffon bags 3.50 each - $133

I also want rose petals where we will do our vows- this was not included


Reception

Vases grouping on each table(she worked with tables of 8)

vase rental -square vases - $100

5 large arrangements-$65 each- $325(pink roses)
5 medium -$45 each- $225(pink peonie)
5 small -$25 each -$125(champagne rose)
petals down the center of each table $10 each - 5 tables $50

pink napkins $2 each- $80

cake table- colored sash $35
rose petals $10

kids table- lollipop centerpiece with craft paper on table $75

move fee $75
delivery fee $25
tax $170.85
total $2899.35

Linda- I would love to know what your ideas are, it was hard to figure out what I wanted because they dont really have many pictures of the area set up for weddings----

As far as set up in Italy for the ceremony, I don't think we are going to do much. I'll know more after we speak with our floral person on Friday. I don't think we are going to do much decorating there. When we spoke with our wedding planner on Monday she said they would set a table or something up for our candle ceremony - not sure about decorating it. I know on the Wishbook there are some kind of pillars that are $25 for the pair and I am not sure if we are going to use a runner. We are also deciding between bubbles or flower petals. If I find some pictures of weddings in Italy I'll send them along.

Thanks Linda- I asked about the pillars(probably would have been cheaper), Laura suggested the urns filled with flowers- sounded so pretty so yup added it in and I guess $200 each isnt awful but 4 of them may be too much- Its such a big space I was trying to pull it in and define the area better!

So today on a whim I decided to make a ringbearer pillow- I woke up thinking about it- UGH ! already wedding dreams!

So here it is- I took part of the monogram from my fan program and used it to make the pillow

Some other random projects I have been working on-

gift bags for our welcome dinner- I am putting hershey kisses/chocolate and strawberry cream

some of the stuff that is in them- I made each different depending on the age/sex of the child-but here is a basic idea

Well that is it for now- up next veil with hidden mickey's of course- my alteration person wanted me to have it done by my next fitting, which is next week so I'm hard at work getting it done!

The nametags are a mickey punch on the top and I glued a matching piece of metallic (of course) paper the same width as the mickey. the lettering is a font called "Mickey" Very easy and the whole thing was soooo cheap----
