DAY 6 ~ Change in plans!
Mickey wake up call 8am! More surprises in the yellow bag. Forgot the housekeeping tip envelope and had to scrabble to get the toys to the window sill myself that afternoon! Today was the day we planned to visit KIDS VILLAGE. That's the place we stayed during dd's MAKE A WISH trip in 1998. We were invited to return and enjoy a character breakky. We just felt like MK!!!!! So we changed plans and spent the morning at MK. We arrived in time for the 10:30am Cinderella Stage Show. Very sweet fun and evil! Did Splash Mtn, Big Thunder Mtn, Carosel AGAIN! Fast MK morning then the ferry boat to TTC about 1pm. Just rested up while dd swam. We had PS for the GG Epcot Ice Cream Social at 3pm so off we went about 2pm! We really enjoyed Epcot a lot this trip! We had a wonderful ice cream with Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. DS does this really funny "BRAIN FREEZE" thing ~ he makes little fists, holds them just in front of his chest and shakes when I yell "BRAIN FREEZE" Dale came by and saw this and join in. We have several minutes video with ds, Dale and myself doing BRAIN FREEZE SHAKING! We headed over to Innoventions for the 10 second video email and email home. Did Wonders of the Universe, Test Track (dh and dd), Universe of Energy (dh and dd). FINALLY DID LEAVE A LEGENCY WITH THE KIDS!!!!! Wanted to do this last year, but ds was always sleeping when we got to Epcot! Excellent PIC! We eat AROUND WS again! UK, Italy, Japan, China (did all the others last trip). We saw BEATLEMANIA at UK! EXCELLENT SHOW! We did ToD and Illuminations AGAIN! Of course more masks for the kids! Epcot was much busier than I thought. Disney added Spectromagic this night, so I thought lots of folks would head over to MK, but they stayed in Epcot! LOVE THOSE FIBER OPTIC SIDEWALKS! Tomorrow is another rest day! The trip is coming to an end in a few days!!!!! Sandra
