Sandcastle kids club

Has anyone used Sandcastle before? If you did ..how was your experience?
DH and I have an adr for the Yatchsmen Steakhouse and are thinking about putting our kids 4 and 7 there. I'm alittle nervous since we have never used any of the kids clubs before. tia

My Dh and I just did the samething in April, IT was perfect.. My kids are also 4 and 7 and they asked why are you back when we picked them up, The restaurant is away from the club so they won't see you. After we ate we went for a walk around the boardwalk, and then picked up the kids and went to see Illuminations at Epcot.

Go For IT

worth the time and $ to have a quiet meal--- We scheduled ours for the middle of our trip (just a little break)

DD went there in October when we went to the Party for the Senses. She loved it! She was just 7 and liked the fact that it seemed more grown up than the neverland club. She played video games and bingo for a good part of the evening.

They can be there for a long time! We dropped DD off at 5pm to walk around the world showcase first for a bit and picked her up at 10pm. Epcot was closed so we had to take a taxi back to our resort.

My DD5 loves the SSC at the BC! In fact, making plans for our January trip I asked what she wanted to do and she asked to go back to the SSC! In case you did not know the rates also include a kids meal. Double Bonus!

You can probably direct this question to disney for confirmation..but it is my understanding that all disney cast members are required to undergo background checks for employment.

Our kids have loved the Sandcastle Club and have never wanted to leave when we arrive to pick them up, even when they were there 5+hrs while we did the Candlelight Processional.

Our first kids club experience was at the Neverland Club. Youngest DD was bound and determined to go even alone so I signed her up one night, older bro and sis weren't so sure. Well, she loved it and kept going on and on about how great it was so the other two decided maybe they would try it. They've come to expect at least one night in a kids club on each vacation .

Our next trip will be at AKV so I'm sure they'll try Simba's Clubhouse.
