Sandcastle Club question

So, ADRs are recommended for Sandcastle Club and there is a two hour minimum.

With a 5:30 reservation at V&A, I will probably reserve the SC starting at 4:30, but am I correct that they charge you for whatever you reserve, unless you go over then they charge you the difference?

So, if I book 5 hours because we want to catch Illuminati0ns as well before picking her up, but we decide not to see Illuminations for whatever reason, we;re still charged for 5 hours? BUT, if we book 2 hours and come back at 9:30, they just charge us the difference, correct?

So my assumption is that there is no benefit to reserving anything more than two hours, correct?

We used Sandcastle in 2012. You reserve at least two hours and they charge you once you are 15 minutes late. And I believe if you are 15 minutes late, they charge you to the half hour so you might as well be 30 minutes late!

My understanding they only charge you for the time the children are there (after meeting that 2 hour minimum)

We left the kids at Sandcastle, walked into EPCOT for dinner and made it back in 2 hours.

The start time is what they need and you have to pay for at least 2 hours. When you get there you can give them an idea of how long you will be gone but they assume you will be back 2 hours or more later. You are only charged for how long they are there.

I did, and the information I got was above. She said you were charged for the time you reserved and since CMs are notoriously wrong and it sounds a bit silly, I figured I would ask here.

I guess either way I'll just reserve two hours and since there is no late arrival fee, there is no harm on my end.
