We're leaving for WDW Sat. It's supposed to rain each day we are there, I expected that. I planned to bring a good pair of sneakers for every day, and a pair of Go Walks as backup, and flip flops for the pool. When I asked about ponchos, people were suggesting waterproof sandals. Do you think they are necessary? I don't have any, neither does DD. It's too late to order them online so we'd have to pay full price at a store and I'd want to get good ones with support for all the walking ahead of us. Do I really need them? I wasn't planning on this expense

I wear ABEO sandals too and they are awesome! It's ok if they get wet and they aren't slippery and don't cause blisters. The built in supportive arch is awesome and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I paid $99 for mine but they hold up well and I've worn the same pair on several Disney trips.
