I know that there are a lot of posts about which sandals are great for walking at the parks but I am a little nervous about wearing sandals all day and want to know what people's faviorite sandal is for the parks. I was at Disney last August and wore tennis shoes the whole time. I am going again this September (for my birtheday  ) and want to be able to wear sandals if I want.

Thanks for the help!

There's a ton of posts about sandals on this forum. Just scroll thru and you'll find the info you want :) Enjoy your trip!

We always go in Aug and I have brought my tennis shoes, but they were too hot for me to wear. I love my Chaco sandals and my Volatile flip flops!:goodvibes The Chacos are for traction and my flip flops are really squishy on the bottom. I can wear either of these all day long!

I always wear my Teva sandals at WDW. I can get them wet on the rides and there's never any problem.

I actually take a couple pair ...

my Teva Kena flip flops

and my Pali Hawaii sandals that I got for $5 a couple years ago in Cocoa Beach (and a second pair last year at Old Town in Kissimmee)

I'm also thinking of getting a pair of crocs ... :thumbsup2

For my May trip, I alternated between 2 pairs of sneakers and my Teva sandals. I found that alternating shoes each day really helped my feet.

I am a total Croc lover, but I have worn other sandals that were OK. I like Teva flip flops, although I can't wear them for a full day- not quite enough support for me. I used to love my Clark's suede walking sandals- until they got wet. They were awful when wet- and when they dried out, they were stiff und uncomfortable. Whatever you get, I'd recommend something that will withstand getting wet.

KEENS!!!!! I read about Keen Newports here on the Dis. They are the best soes I have ever had! They give me support and I had NO achy calves after being in the parks all day. You can try then on at sporting stores or camping stores.....You can order them online at Zappos or other shoe websites.
