Sand Ceremony

Hi

I'm trying to convince DF that we should do a sand ceremony, but he's not really very interested! I think they're a really nice idea. I also think we need one because we won't be doing a first dance or the cake eating thing during the ceremony, so we need to fill the time up a little bit!

I'd really appreciate it if you could post me some pictures of your finished sand ceremony vase so I can show DF how they end up

I wanted to do a unity candle just because I never heard of sand ceremonies until I found these boards...so I thought it would be weird. But actually one of my friends from Chicago had a beautiful wedding here that included a sand ceremony, so I guess it is mainstream.

I was also encouraged by Disney and people here to not do a unity candle outside because it's too difficult to keep the flame lite with the wind and such.
